HE PROPOSED
We stood in NYC on the Bow Bridge, my voice trembling and me, attempting to confess my love in a way that I hoped would grant me a Yes to that all important question. While approaching the moment and being “coached” by Avery to get down on one knee… “babe I know what to do lol”. Finally, on one knee in front of what turned out to be nearly 40 people I said: “Avery Ann Nied, will you marry me?”

As we walked up to the railing of the Bow Bridge, for what I thought was going to be the perfect Instagram photo… Greg grabbed my hands and began to tell me how much he loved me. Or at least I think so. The whole 3 minutes was such a blur that by the time he got down on one knee, and I said “Yes!” I asked him “can we do it again!?”. We both laughed and quickly realized we had an audience of what seemed like 100 people.
Our Love Story
It's been an adventure since
the beginning!
From dancing on St. Patties Day in downtown Chicago, to 3 weeks later snorkeling in Mexico. Our relationship has been nothing short of an adventure. We fell in love over our mutual passion for travel and nearly two years later that love and passion has only grown.
Several trips, 5 countries, 7 islands, and a beautiful (*energetic) black lab later, we are living our best lives in Downtown Milwaukee. In April of 2019 we will get married and start the next chapter of our lives together. Filled with more adventure, more travel, more love, and who knows… maybe even a little friend for Chase (our dog;)

The reception will be located directly on the beautiful white sand of Bavaro Beach. The ocean and palm trees as our backdrop and the colorful lighting that happens only when the sun just begins its decent. Following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour where you’re welcome to kick your shoes off and bury your toes in the sand enjoying one of our signature cocktails and an array of hors d’oeuvres .
